Peaceful civil disobedience has been a cornerstone of all progressive social change, but as its effectiveness grows, people using these tactics have faced ever increasing hostilty, surveillance, harassment and now jail.
We know our community doesn't want people jailed, or fined $1000s who are standing up for our climate, social and racial justice.
Repression is increasing, but so is our movement. Stand with us to protect our International rights to freedom of movement, association, peaceful assembly, and political speech
Together we are stronger.

All over this country people are standing up for racial and social justice, workers' rights, and a safer climate.
On the 13th of December the SIXTH person in NSW sent to prison for climate activism - during a climate crisis - will fight to be freed on bail so she can appeal the 15 month sentence.
We have been told by NSW Premier Perrottet that this is "pleasing to see" because protesters "want to put our way of life at risk".
In fact our "way of life" is threatened by corruption, fossil fuel money driving government policy and an out of touch government. Our collective power to protest is how we fight for something better.
Disruptive protest has secured many of the things we value about our "way of life" - from the 8 hour work day to women's right to vote to land rights for First Nations people and protecting sacred country everywhere.
We are prioritising NSW MPs due to an upcoming election. The Liberals need to dial down the rhetoric, respect International Human Rights law and Labor need to listen to their grassroots membership and promise to revoke these laws, listen to Unions NSW, and the 100s of civil society voices calling on this attack on climate protectors to stop.
This is not just an issue for NSW - there are anti protest laws across 4 states, over-policing and activist harassment in all states, and Federal Labor has a moral responsibility to return to its roots, honour its grassroots members and remember where they came from - from staunch workers movements disrupting business as usual for the good of all.
PLEASE NOTE: If you live in NSW, prioritise your Liberal or Labor state representatives of your electorate
